Kvällstoppen was a music listing radio program which started on 10 July 1962. The very last program was broadcast on Tuesday, August 19, 1975. The first list was I Can't Stop Loving You with Ray Charles. The one of all the last number one was the LP collection Greatest Hits with Cat Stevens. Kvällstoppen listed the 20 best selling records in Sweden (according to statistics from Radio selected record stores) every Tuesday on Swedens Radio P3. Both LP albums and singles were combined on the same list but in the late 1960s an LP list was established where the five best selling LPs were listed which in turn reduced the regular list to 15 positions.
